Dr. Perry D. Drake is currently the Assistant Teaching Professor of Digital and Social Media Marketing and the Executive Director of the Marketing and Sales Leadership Institute in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Prior to joining UMSL in 2013, Perry spent 14 years with NYU.
Currently, Perry is responsible for the creation and instruction of the digital and social media marketing courses and programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in addition to non-credit curriculums and certifications. He serves as the faculty advisor to both the UMSL Marketing Advisor Board and the UMSL Marketing Club and teaches in the UMSL International MBA program, located in Germany and Finland. Perry is also the founder of the annual Midwest Digital Marketing Conference (MDMC), the largest digital marketing event in the Midwest featuring over 100 speakers from Facebook, Pinterest, Microsoft, and Under Armour.
He is a published author of Optimal Database Marketing by Sage Publications, a regular speaker at industry functions and events, and has appeared on TV and in many journals.
